Help us tackle the housing crisis in Frome

If you’d like to help us tackle the housing crisis in Frome, please make sure you stay in touch.

You can do this by signing up to the FHfF newsletter, attending our events, and following us on Facebook.

You can also support FHfF by telling people about our work and/or sharing our events and posts on Facebook.

Could you also help with general tasks such as putting up posters or other core tasks?

What skills can you offer?

Call for new board members - March 2020
Could this be you?

Are you a local resident with good links in the community and some understanding of insecure housing and homelessness, either through your own experience or the experience of friends and family? Or are you someone with professional skills related to housing, fundraising, development and marketing, or a strategic thinker who can help turn vision into reality?

It’s also important to us to have as much diversity as possible on the board of directors, in terms of age, gender and experience.

We are a friendly open-minded group that meets approximately every two months, with other events and activities in between. This is a voluntary position, and following a trial period, we’re looking for a commitment of two to three years.

We’ve put together a simple application form: you can either download it from the website or request a copy from If you’d like to discuss the role further, please contact Ali Barclay on 07813 975582.

Do you have a particular interest in any of the three areas that FHfF currently works in?
